MIXofDIZ doesn’t write songs to make sense, he writes them because they won’t leave him alone. Sometimes it’s cats on smack, sometimes a burnt dinner, a failed attempt to reach the South Pole, or the ache of requesting a refund. The themes feel random, specific, and off beat but they’re just the truth of a strange perspective, caught in sound. Each track is built with intent, treated with the weight of something that matters, even when the subject matter seems ridiculous. That contrast of absurd ideas with serious craft is what makes the songs land somewhere between "what the hell was that" and a groove or riff you can’t shake. MIXofDIZ doesn’t aim to be relatable. He promises to be authentic, in the only way he knows how.
